Rudy Muls

During Military Service (Captain (R)), as a Voluntary Fireman (specialist rescue of victims of accidents) and as a Red Cross Monitor I gained a lot of experience in crisis situations. During all those different positions I provided training in rescue and life saving techniques. In my professional career I was employed in different positions in IT (Project Manager, Business Analyst, …). But the best period started from 2010 on when I could combine all those experience in the roles of business continuity manager and afterwards as an information security officer. To keep soul and body healthy I like running, up to marathons (NY, November 3rd, 2013).

  • Expert opinion on and synergy between business continuity and information security
  • Cyber resilience assessments, yearly Information Security Action Plans
  • Preparation for the CISSP exam on-going
  • Elaborate, present and propagate BCM methodology and guidelines
  • Provide (crisis) communication, elaborate incident information communication channels based on an incident impact analysis calculating an alert level to bring the information to the appropriate level at the right time to take decisions
