James Crask

James works in the Enterprise Resilience team at PwC.  His work includes coaching on what resilience means in a business context, measuring resilience and delivering programmes to enhance it.  In addition James regularly speaks on the subject of resilience at conferences and in the media. He also acts as the chair of the ISO Continuity and Resilience Working Group responsible for the development and publication of all continuity and resilience based International Standards.

Prior to PwC, James worked for the UK Cabinet Office Civil Contingencies Secretariat. This experience has given him a unique insight into the mechanics of the UK’s civil emergency structure. After leading the development of the Government's corporate resilience policy, James helped deliver the London Olympic Resilience Project, building capabilities within the emergency services to mitigate risks associated with hosting the Olympic Games.
